The CEOs Journal to Self- Discovery
“You didn’t come this far, just to come this far”
Entrepreneurship is a journey. Most newspapers and magazines include an editors note and to be honest it’s our favorite aspect. As we move forward we’ve realized how many founders are in need of a safe space to vent, continue to be inspired and connect emotionally.
Because of this, our Editor in Chief has created a special blog for journal entries. As she balances transparency and privacy, she invites HSJ community on a story telling journey of how we became a leading business resource, connecting first generation entrepreneurs to their respective community partners while promoting self discovery through entrepreneurship and advocating for economic development.
We are proof that starting a business with access to resourceful community partners can increase opportunities for the underrepresented communities to feel seen and valued.
Read a blog. And remember you’re never alone on this journey. Cheers, to being High Earners, Not Rich Yet. As known as Henry’s.
The Last Straw
It all begins with an idea.

Where do entrepreneurs go? When you don't want to give up, but you do, but you don't. When you need to vent but you don't, but you do. But you have so much to say although you really don't care?
I know I can't be the only flip-flopping founder who dares to show up with transparency but yet seeks privacy. The founder who is in between killing shit but not doing enough? Or am I? Who told me I wasn’t? Why am I even here? I made it this far for?....
The questions never end. The fear is always lurking but one thing I can’t seem to do is fold. My business went months without revenue. I couldn’t find my rhythm let alone my algorithm in this entrepreneurial space. I want to invite you to follow along as I share how I pivoted my business into becoming the resource needed to contribute to the total well-being of businesses as well as their owners.
This isn’t a sales pitch although money is to be made. I am seeking nothing but satisfaction of knowing our story will help others navigate this space, plus we have some bomb resources that we can never gatekeep.
Yes, we are a digital hub for business resources providing open grant opportunities, business trends, business conferences, expos and more in our monthly newspaper but more importantly we are focusing on our mission: Encouraging self-discovery through entrepreneurship.
So I end with these questions:
How do you honor yourself?
Where do you go when you're over- stimulated?
How do you show up for you?
Will you join us on this journey of becoming a holistic approach to corporate wellness?
Cheers to us, for showing up. This is where I go as an entrepreneur, the safe haven I wish I had; the Henry Society Journal.
Editor in Chief,
With Love, Rae
