Black Women Animate (BWA) Bootcamp Returns for its 5th Year at Titmouse Animation Studios in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA - February 28, 2024 - Black Women Animate (BWA) proudly announces the return of its acclaimed Bootcamp, "Making Our Mark," scheduled for April 13th - 14th, 2024, at Titmouse Animation Studios in Los Angeles, CA.
This free 2-day event aims to empower early and mid-career professionals through in-person workshops, industry panels, screenings, and networking opportunities.
Now in its 5th year, BWA Bootcamp continues to provide invaluable insights into animation workflows and specialties, including illustration, design, character animation, and animation for gaming.
With a special focus on fostering lasting industry connections and community building, attendees can expect a dynamic and enriching experience.

As the youngest CEO in the animation industry and a prominent figure in Hollywood, Taylor K. Shaw has been recognized for her groundbreaking work.
Named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Hollywood & Entertainment list and recipient of the Shadow & Act Rising Executive Award, Shaw's leadership at BWA Studios has reshaped the landscape of animation by actively recruiting Black women and animators of color.
In addition to her role at BWA Studios, Shaw is a Partner & Transformational Coach at Inspire Justice, where she champions personal transformation and equity initiatives. Her visionary storytelling extends beyond animation, with feature films and TV shows in development, including projects for Actor/Activist Kendrick Sampson (Insecure, HBO).
