PRIMA Beauty Founder, Whitney Cumbo gives toys to more than 1,500 Families in less than 30 minutes at Toy Story Giveaway

Whitney Cumbo of Chicago, Illinois is a serial entrepreneur who owns three storefronts on the same block and they call her the grant queen. If you’re familiar with Whitney you’d know that’s her ‘social pitch.’ A social pitch could also be known as a hook in which a person uses a quick intro to tell you who they are, what they do or why they’re qualified for the information you’re about to receive.

Whitney Cumbo hosted a Holiday Toy Story giveaway in Chicago and gave away toys to more than 1,500 families in about 27 minutes! This may have been the biggest toy giveaway Chicago has seen.

Holidays are all about giving, and most recently Whitney posted to her social media feed that she founded her own non-profit and has since been giving back through action and inspiration. With a line that ran for blocks it was such a wonderful sight to witness. A young, woman of color able and willing to give back to the very community that she came from.

Whitney has shared much of her journey on social media from breaking her neck mid-career to finding out she had multiple sclerosis at the beginning; she knew she wanted to make a change and that there was enough space for women who look like her to win as well.

Entrepreneurship has many valleys and peaks but the true essence of success is being about to give back and make an impact with your platform.
